Balthali Village Trek is another trek around Kathmandu valley. The small settlement of Balthali village (2400m.) is standing on a plateau, just beyond Panauti above 40 Km away from Kathmandu. The village is situated at the junction of Roshi and Ladku rivers. This exceptional hamlet stands at an outstanding place of isolation and relaxation amidst a surround of typical Nepali countryside with terraced rice fields and ochre thatched farm houses.

Shivapuri Village Trek is one of the finest trekking routes around Kathmandu valley. Even though being so close; yet it provides a visitor a glimpse of the remoteness and the grandeur of the villages found in Nepal. Shivapuri Village (2729m) is a true spirit of Nepalese village experience and hospitality. The trek is named after the Shivapuri National Park, which is regarded as the nearest National Park from the International Airport. It is situated just only 25km. from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
