Bardiya National Park

Bardiya National park (968 sq. km); is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai. Thickly covered with sal trees and carpeted with class and savannah , the park has the second largest tiger population after Chitwan National park. Other wild animals that roam here are the one-horned rhino, wild elephant, swamp deer, black buck, antelope, Gharial crocodile, and gangetic dolphin. Endangered birds that make there home here include the Bengal florican and sarus crane. The Park headquarters is about a four hour drive from the town of Nepalgunj which is linked to the Kathmandu by road (531km) and by air 75 Minutes.


 Itinerary :
Day 01:
Meeting upon arrival in Kathmandu International airport (TIA) and transfar to Hotel.
Day 02:
Departure to Bardia, arrival at Hotel and Cultural tour to a Tharu village and visit Elephant breeding center.
Day 03:
Jungle trek (Chance to see the barking dear, bear, blue cow, rhinos and might be Royal Bengal tiger).
Day 04:
A trek to Karnali River to see Dolphins and Elephant Safari.
Day 05:
Wild sight seeing rafting at Karnali River.
Day 06:
Bird watching and back to Kathmandu.
Day 07:
Transfer to airport and departure on your own destination.
