Mt. Kantega Expedition
Nepal is a Himalayan country where hundreds of Peaks do welcome for those people who wants to adventure. Mt. Kangtega is one of the famous peak which lies on the center north of Nepal at the bottom of the Kangtega Ice-Fall, which resembles with the infamous Khumbu Ice Fall of Mt. Everest.
Our approach to this mountain is from the south side over the Tsetrawala pass and then through the Hinku glacier. We take about a week to reach the Kangtega base camp.
TheSummit offers great mountain views and the valley surrounding.Our Climbing Sherpa /sardar will manage to carry food, fuel, equipments and fix the rope.
Itinerary :
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu then Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02-03: Sightseeing and Preperation for expedition.
Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2800m), trek to Phakding (2640m). Overnight in hotel.
Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m). Overnight in lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Khumjung (3790m.).
Day 07: Khumjung, acclimatization day.
Day 08: Kangtega Base Camp.
Day 09-29: Climbing Period.
Day 30: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Day 31: Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in lodge.
Day 32: Trek to Phakding. Overnight in lodge.
Day 33: Trek to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
Day 34: Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to your Hotel.
Day 35: Sight seeing & farewell Diner.
Day 36: Final Departure to your Country.
