Mt. Amadablam Expedition

Pyramid shaped Mount Amadablam (6812m.), located to the south of Everest and Lhotse, characterized by vertical walls and sharp exposed ridges is renowned for its incredible beauty. The peak stands above Thayangboche monastery on the way to Everest Base Camp.Mount Ama Dablam leaves a lasting impression on many as it is perhaps the most stunning mountain along the popular trekking route to Everest Base Camp. However, the expedition demands good skills on rock climbing, ice climbing, sufficient experience of high altitude and technically competent.

The trekking route starts from Lukla (2840m) and passes through the legendary Sherpa village of Khumbu region. It is required to set-up at least four camps from the Base Camp to accomplish the expedition. We follow the standard South West ridge route to the top, as it is considered the safe route which is free from the objective danger such as avalanches, glaciers and icefalls. Amadablam is not a new name for the climbers. It offers a superb climbing experience to the new comers with numerous cultural and scenic diversions close up view of Mt Lhotse, Makalu, Cho- Oyu and Mt. Everest.
