Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world with its majestic height-8,586m. is mystery in itself. There are different versions of different scholars on its name. It is said that it is derived from Sanskrit word 'Kancan Jangha' meaning "golden thigh". Majority of the people believe that its name is derived from Tibetan language 'Kang-chen-dzo-nga' which is pronounced more or less as Kanchenjunga. It is also claimed that its name is derived from a local Sikkim god when he sit at the peak as if like riding a white lion. The name remains as enigma. Home of more than 250 species of birds and wildlife, and a high mountain lakes in Olangchunggola, the Kanchanjunga area has some of the stunning scenery. Ten species among the nation's 20 indigenous gymnosperms and 15 among Nepal's endemic flowering plants are available here. The region also boasts of 30 varieties of rhododendron and 69 varieties of orchids.

Day 01:
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 02-03:
Preparation for the expedition
Day 04:
Today, we fly from Kathamndu to Biritnagar - Suketar (2300m). Overnight in a local lodge
Day 05:
From Suketar (2300m), we trek to Lali Kharka (2220m), overnight in the camp
Day 06:
It is our turn to trek to Keswa (1960m) from Lali Kharka (2220m), overnight in the camp
Day 07:
We trek from Keswa (1960m) to Mamankhe (1810m), overnight in the camp
Day 08:
After having food at Mamankhe (1810m), we trek to Yamphudin (1690m), overnight in the camp
Day 09:
From Yamphudin (1690m), it is our turn to visit Omje Khola (2340m), overnight in the camp
Day 10:
Having lunch at Omje Khola (2340m), we trek to Torontan (2990m), overnight in the camp
Day 11:
Today we go to Tseram (3870m) from Torontan (2990m), overnight in the camp
Day 12:
After having food at Tseram (3870m), we trek to Ramche (4040m), overnight in the camp
Day 13:
It is our turn to visit Glacier Camp, overnight in the camp
Day 14:

Today, we go to South Base Camp, overnight in the camp

Day 15-49:
Climbing Period.
Day 50:
Cleaning up the Base Camp, overnight in the camp
Day 51-54:

Trek back to Suketar airport, overnight in a local tea house

Day 55:
Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 56:
Full day sightseeing and shopping in Kathmandu, farewell dinner party in the evening and overnight in the hotel

Back home destination
