Nepal has earned her reputation as one of the best destinations in the world for white water rafting. The thundering waters originating from the glaciers of the mighty Himalaya provide unmatched thrills for rafting and immersing oneself in the perennial rivers of Nepal. Among the various rivers, the Seti River has its own popularity in the field of whitewater rafting. The warm and beautiful Seti River passes through dense jungle, green hills and valleys. The riversides are also an excellent spot for bird watchers. During the monsoon, its swollen rapids provide an exciting and unique taste for the experienced rafters and kayakers. Relatively, the river is small in water volume. Hence, it is suitable for the beginners. Damauli, the put-in point for the Seti River, is situated at a distance of five hours drive from Kathmandu. Similarly, one can reach the take-out point at Gaighat within 4-5 hours’ drive from Kathmandu.
Day 01: Kathmandu – Damauli - Gaighat
Early in the morning, we will drive to Damauli from Kathmandu and commence our rafting trip. We will organize camping at jungle near the riverbank.
Day 02: Gaighat – Kathmandu
Today too, we go for rafting till late afternoon and return to Kathmandu or drive to the Chitwan National Park.
