The Trishuli River is considered as a high commercial whitewater sports destination of Nepal. It is an excellent river for the beginners and to those who are looking for short rafting trip to Nepal. The rafting in this river provides beautiful scenery, peaceful environment and wonderful local cultural activities. The volume of water increases in the monsoon season. The river flows down through massive gorges towards southern direction and it takes its way through the 2000-meter high Mahavarat Range of mid-hill and then reaches the great plain of the Ganges of Indian plate.The Trisuli has its source in Ganesh and Langtang Himal.
The name of the river is associated with lord Shiva's three pointed stuff Trisul. Legend says that the god drove the tips into the ground creating three small lakes which form the headwaters of the river.It is Nepal's most popular rafting river. It has impressive gorges, exciting rapids, some easier sections, and is easily accessible from Kathmandu and Pokhara. No doubt, the Trisuli white water trip is exciting, funny and safe for all the rafters of all ages. The rafting can be combined with a trek to Pokhara and/or a visit to Chitwan National Park.
Day 01: Kathmandu - Fishling
We start our journey from Katmandu at 7 am and reach Benighat at 10.30 am. After having welcome drinks at Benighat we will have lunch and then we commence our rafting. Overnight in the camp at Fishling.
Day 02: Fishling - Simaltal
Having breakfast at Fishling, we commence our rafting. Lunch will be served in the beach. Overnight in the camp at Simaltal.
Day 03: Simaltal – Kathmandu
We start our rafting after having breakfast at Simaltal. We take our lunch at the beach and finish the trip at Narayanghat. From here, we either depart to Pokhara/ Chitwan or Kathmandu.
