Agile Adventure Treks & Expedition takes pride to organize volunteer program with the aim of providing quality service and placement for volunteers in a different field as per the desire and interest of the volunteer. We welcome all the interested personals including students, researchers, academicians, professionals, organizations, associations and other groups to join with us to experience incredible Nepal. The volunteers will be provided placement in schools, orphanage, health institutions, disable caring institutions, women empowerment institutions and nestling houses. Receiving innate hospitality of the Nepalese, rich culture, age-old traditions and history, panoramic mountain views such as the Mt. Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dhaulagiri, etc, are some of the attractions of this trip.
This 75 Days volunteer program will take you to different parts of Nepal including some of the major tourism destinations across the country. However, the 75 days is not the ceiling, one can stay up to 150 days in Nepal. For working in schools, orphanage, disable caring institutions, women empowerment institutions and nestling, no formal training is necessary. We will provide 3 day workshop to every individual to be prepared to work in the related field. But, to work in health institutions, one must need authentic documentation such as certificate from the registered organization stating he/she is student or doctor/nurse of the bonafied member of a recognized institution. Volunteer service can commence either after completing our 17 day package or before starting the service.
The placements can be arranged in any region of the country depending upon the interest of the volunteer. Besides, volunteers’ area of skills is another criterion of placement.
The program can be arranged throughout the year. There is no specific season specified for the program.
There is no hard and fast rule to have specific skills for this program. The volunteers need to be independent, enthusiastic and adaptable. Whatever your previous background and qualifications may be, the positive outlook you bring with you and your other attributes can be put to good use.
There would be plenty of benefits for the volunteers in this program. They will have a chance to learn more about the Nepali culture, tradition, lifestyle, language, and people. Volunteers stay in the village with a Nepali family, where they taste Nepali food Dal- Bhat (lunch & dinner), Khaja (snacks & breakfast). Besides, volunteers will also have an opportunity to participate in local festivals with the local people that would facilitate to learn and exchange the culture of one another. Along with this, volunteers can also use their skills & knowledge in their homeland which they would achieve in Nepal.
